The 2nd Annual Ski 4 Yellow event scheduled for March 31st, 2012 is a chance to ski/ride with a US Olympian/World Cup athlete in the fight against cancer. Skiers & Snowboarders will enjoy some of the best terrain in North America at the Steamboat Ski Area, while supporting both LIVESTRONG’s global mission & Steamboat Spring’s local cancer foundations.
The Ski 4 Yellow is a weekend of fun and fundraising for taking place in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Teams of skiers and boarders will be teamed up Olympians and Top Tier Athletes with connections to the Yampa Valley. Teams will be asked to complete challenges all over the Steamboat Ski Area. Challenges include riding every chairlift, carpet and pony lift at Steamboat, taking the scenic trails, racing Olympians in NASTAR and taking on the half pipe, just to name few.
