The 3rd Annual Ski 4 Yellow event will take place March 30th, 2013. Participants will ski or ride with a US Olympian/World Cup athlete in the fight against cancer as they travel around the Ski Area on a scavenger hunt challenge. Skiers & Snowboarders will enjoy a beautiful Spring day at some of the best terrain in North America at the Steamboat Ski Area, while supporting Steamboat Spring's local cancer services and LIVESTRONG's cancer navigation services.

The Ski 4 Yellow is a weekend of fun and fundraising for taking place in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Teams of skiers and boarders will be teamed up Olympians and Top Tier Athletes with connections to the Yampa Valley. Teams will be asked to complete challenges all over the Steamboat Ski Area. Challenges include riding every lift at the Steamboat Ski Area, taking the scenic trails, racing Olympians in NASTAR and taking on the half pipe, just to name few. What is the Ski 4 Yellow?

Ski 4 Yellow is the Best Day at the Steamboat Ski Resort you will have in all of 2013! Why? Because you will be skiing or riding to Kick Cancers Butt!

With the 4 Yellow Foundation and LIVESTRONG with Olympic and World Cup athletes as your on mountain guides, you will ski and ride to all corners of Mt. Werner completing a scavenger hunt like group of items.

You and your team will get points for each item you completed with your team of up to 10 people. Some of the Items would include riding every lift on the mountain, even the Rough Rider Pony, Racing the Nastar course, riding the half pipe, Hiking to N.St.Pats, Having to take "Why Not" ALL THE WAY DOWN and others.

With your help, in 2013, the first $50,000 raised will go directly to the 4 Yellow Foundation's grants to support Cancer Services in Steamboat Springs. In 2012, the 4 Yellow Foundation granted $100,000 to local entities including the Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurses Association, Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains and the Yampa Valley Medical Center. We’ll continue to make a difference with the generous support from donations from you.

With 200 Skiers and Snowboarders taking to the mountain, every one of our participants has pledged to raise at least $250 to help with cancer support services in our LOCAL community and World Wide. Support Ski 4 Yellow’s Cancer Fight

For the past 3 years, Ski 4 Yellow and the 4 Yellow Foundation have help put more than $200,000 back into the Steamboat Community by fund cancer programs at Yampa Valley Medical Center, as well as other screening and prevention programs around the Community.
